Magga

Active

Software for automated generation of geographically correct or schematic transit maps.

transitmapsdesignc++

Magga takes transit route data and automatically generates clean, schematic maps — the kind of diagrams that make public transport legible at a glance.

Based on the LOOM framework from the University of Freiburg, it can produce both geographically correct maps and simplified schematic diagrams (like the London Tube style). The goal is to make transit information more accessible, especially for Indian cities where good public transit maps are rare.
